A story rooted in tradition and passion

Our journey with cigars began in 2003, though our family's legacy stretches back five generations of farmers. Despite this rich heritage, the path that brought us here did not start in the fields — it started in publishing, where more than two decades were spent building bridges, cultivating connections, and forging lifelong friendships.

One of those friendships was with Vecdi, a trusted collaborator since 2002 and one of the first advertisers in the magazine. Around the same time, a serendipitous meeting with Cano Ozgener, the visionary founder of CAO Cigars, reshaped the way we thought about tobacco entirely.

A mentor's wisdom

Cano taught us that cigars are not just about tobacco — they embody culture, lifestyle, and the unique bonds that bring people together. That lesson sat with us for years. It is the lesson behind every band, every box, and every cigar we hand to a client.

Family partnership

Over the years, the dream of creating something exceptional in the cigar world grew stronger. Together with our cousin Bahri, we explored every nuance of this timeless craft — sourcing, blending, wrappers, bands, presentation. We learned which questions to ask and which corners never to cut.

In partnership with Vecdi, we then embarked on a journey to offer something truly personalized and unique. After a year of meticulous research and development — sourcing the finest cigars, designing bespoke boxes, and crafting custom cigar bands — the vision we had been carrying for so long finally took shape.

Why Exodus

That vision became Tria Exodus LLC dba Design My Cigar. Inspired by the word "Exodus," symbolizing a transformative journey, we set out to redefine the cigar experience — not as a transaction, but as a passage from the ordinary to the memorable.

The name also carries a quieter meaning. Three crossings, three departures — a reminder that every cigar makes a journey from the maker's bench to our studio, from our studio to the client, and from the client to the hand of someone who matters. Three small handoffs. One large moment.

Our mission

Our mission is simple yet profound: to celebrate individuality by delivering an unparalleled combination of quality, artistry, and personalization. Every cigar is an experience. Every box is a masterpiece. Every detail reflects our commitment to making you feel truly special.

At Tria Exodus, we believe that craftsmanship is mostly about caring enough to do the last 5 percent when nobody is looking. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, order after order, band after band.
